Sellwood Music Suite is an inviting basement apartment located in the heart of the Sellwood neighborhood, with a home theater system, kitchen, one bedroom, an assortment of musical instruments, and private entry. Walk to restaurants, cafes, shops, parks, bus, grocery store. It sleeps 4, with a queen bed and bunkbed (two twins) in the bedroom. (In the living room, the sofa also folds out into a double bed to give you more sleeping options).
Sellwood Music Suite is a separate private apartment below the main part of the house we live in. A private entrance with your own unique keypad entry code brings you into the spacious living room. (There are 7 steps down into the entrance – see photos). The bedroom has a queen bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress, and a bunkbed with two single mattresses – and more people or different sleeping configurations can be accommodated with the double sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom is off of the bedroom. The radiant floor heat, fairly high ceilings and abundant natural light are the source of its warm open feeling. And even on the hottest summer days, it stays fairly cool.
A projector shows Apple TV, Netflix, Prime, or Blu-ray/DVD movies on a 110″ screen, and the surround sound completes the home theater experience as though you were at the movies. That same audio system can be used as a stereo – you can dial in radio stations from Apple TV, radio tuner, or connect your own device to play your own tunes.
There are musical instruments (keyboard, drum set, guitar, plus more) that are there to be played.
